The photosensitive resin composition comprises, as essential components, a hydrophilic resin (A), a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate (B), a radical trapping agent (C), a photopolymerization initiator (D), and a metal element-containing compound (E). The composition is alkali-developable and shows, as a pure composition thereof, a viscosity of 4,000 mPa s to 10,000 mPa s at 25°C.
