Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure superior flexographic ink resistance and flexibility by incorporating an ethylenically unsatd. compd., polyurethane having carboxyl groups, a gelling agent and a photopolymn. initiator.

CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive resin compsn. contains an ethylenically unsatd. compd., polyurethane having carboxyl groups, a gelling agent and a photopolymn. initiator. The gelling agent has such characteristics as to make this compsn. gel, 12-hydroxystearic acid or benzylidene sorbitol is preferably used as the gelling agent and plural kinds of compds. may be used in combination. The polyurethane is used by 1-100 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the ethylenically unsatd. compd., the gelling agent is used by 0.1-20 pts.wt. and the photopolymn. initiator is used by 0.01-10 pts.wt.
