Abstract:

To provide a photovoltaic module and a folding method of a photovoltaic module, disclosed in an embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of solar cells.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic module comprises: a plurality of battery cells; a first flexible cover layer; and a second flexible cover layer. Therein: the battery cells are arranged in an array, where respective rows of the battery cells are arranged at intervals along a first direction, and respective columns of the battery cells are arranged at intervals along a second direction; each battery cell includes a first surface and a second surface; and the first flexible cover layer is positioned on the first surface side of the battery cell, and the second flexible cover layer is positioned on the second surface side of the battery cell; and the photovoltaic module is used in a state of being folded along a gap between the adjacent battery cells in two rows, or being folded along a gap between adjacent battery cells in two columns, where a folding angle between the adjacent two battery cells is 0° to 180°. An embodiment of the present invention is advantageous for improving a folding performance of the photovoltaic module.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
