Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for ensuring safety by electrically dividing the inside of a string in which a solar cell module is included if a failure such as generation of an insulation defective part occurs in that solar cell module within a photovoltaic power generation system, and making a switch of small capacity available as a switch to be used for electrically dividing the inside of the string.SOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generation system comprises: a plurality of cable run switches for cancelling a connection between solar cell modules in a plurality of locations; a plurality of short-circuit switches for forming a short circuit by connecting output terminals that output power from the solar cell modules; and a control device which performs switching control of the cable run switches and the short-circuit switches. A short-circuit switch is disposed between a solar cell module and a cable run switch that is connected with the solar cell module and before opening the cable run switch, the control device performs control for turning on the short-circuit switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
