Abstract:

To provide a physical quantity sensor which detects physical quantities at a distant position.

A magnetic field is generated in a coil 12 by oscillation of a positive feedback oscillation circuit 1 which contains an amplifier 11 and the coil 12 in a feedback path. A physical quantity detecting part 2 is constituted of a tank circuit comprising a coil 13 and a capacitor 15 connected in parallel with the coil 13, which is wound around magnetic material 14 having temperature sensing characteristic and couples electromagnetically with the coil 12. The detecting part 2 converts an environmental temperature of the coil 13 into a frequency, detects an oscillation frequency of the positive feedback oscillation circuit 1, and measures the physical quantity on the basis of the frequency.
