PURPOSE: To make a physical weight measurement rapidly and easily with relatively high precision, by exercising control over the fixation and release of display according to whether weighed value sample under the process control of CPU exceeds a prescribed value or not.
CONSTITUTION: According to key operation, CPU9 writes various status signals passed through data selector 15, such as a tare deduction signal and hold signal generated by key matrix 13, in RAM11, etc., and then reads a program out of ROM10 on the basis of the contents to exercise required processing control. Consequently, weighing information passed through weighing part 6 and A/D conversion part 7 is sampled and according to whether the sampled value exceeds a set value, control over the fixation or release of the display weight on display device 20 is exercised by the hold signal from materix 13 to prevent undesired deflection on the display due to the motion of a baby, so that the weight measurement with relatively high precision is performed rapidly and easily.
