Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bobbin from being bitten by the shutter cutter of a pick finding apparatus in the case of the removal of the bobbin from a tray by any chance in the pick finding apparatus.
SOLUTION: This pick finding apparatus is equipped with stretchable sucking cylindrical bodies 5, 6 and 6' capable of covering a bobbin 1 placed on a tray placed at a pick finding position. A suction pipe 9 is connected to the top of the sucking cylindrical bodies. A suction cutter 7 is installed between the sucking cylindrical bodies and the suction pipe 9 and a yarn linked from the bobbin to the suction pipe 9 is cut. A yarn is passed at the front position of the shutter cutter in the interior of the sucking cylindrical bodies and a bobbin trap 10 for preventing the intrusion of the bobbin is laid.
