Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform high efficient picking work by allowing a control unit to recognize the position of a truck from information on address of a shelf and information on its travel distance and to send out not only the working instructions in relation to a bay located at the stopping position of the truck, but also the working instructions in relation to an adjacent bay.
CONSTITUTION: When a transmitter-receiver 11 receives microwaves from an ID tag 6, an encoder 13 is reset, and the present position of a truck 10 is specified by count value after resetting the encoder. An IC card reader writer 14 reads the information on picking from the IC card to output the information to a control unit 12. The control unit 12 specifies a bay where picking is to be performed to send out the working instructions when the truck 10 reaches close to the boundary between the bay and a bay of this side. In this case, not only the working instructions in relation to the ream stopped thr truck 10, but also the working instructions in relation to adjacent bay are adapted to be cocurrently sent out to a display 15 to be displayed. Thus, high efficient picking work can be performed.
