PURPOSE: To form latent images of each different polarity in accordance with different information, by using plural screen photosensitive bodies.
CONSTITUTION: In theIa and theIb stages, a screen photosensitive body A and B are charged uniformly, respectively. In the IIa stage, the screen photosensitive body A is subjected to exposure of an original O and also discharge of the opposite polarity, a red part (R) and a white part (W) are destaticized, and a black part (BK) is not destaticized. On the other hand, in the IIb stage, the screen photosensitive body B is exposed through a filter F, is subjected to discharge, and only the white part (W) is destaticized. In the IIIa and the IIIb stages, the exposure is received uniformly, and in the IV stage, insulating layers of the screen photosensitive bodies A and B are opposed and made to conform with each other, and negative polarity discharge is given. In the V stage, the screen photosensitive body B is opposed to an electrostatic image preserving body G, and discharge is given. In the VI stage and the VII stage, the development is executed by a black developer T (BK) of negative polarity and a red developer T (R) of positive polarity, respectively.
