PURPOSE: To improve the system feed function by providing a separate copy paper feed unit connectably to the main body of a copying machine in a device forming a picture image on a sheet (copy paper) being fed.

CONSTITUTION: A sheet feed means is formed by an attachment 13 with a cassette 14 capable of continuously feeding multiple sheets. When multiple sheets of copy paper are to be continuously copied because of an increased amount of copy usage, the attachment 13 is connected to the lower portion of the main body C of a copying machine so that the sheets can be continuously conveyed by the cassette 14. When a copy button provided on the attachment 13 is depressed under this condition, a feed paper roller 23 is rotated by a drive mechanism and the copy paper is fed out of the cassette 14 and is conveyed by a pair of conveying rollers 26, 27 while being guided by feed paper guides 24, 25 and a guide 44 in the main body C, and is adjusted for timing by a pair of regist roller 7, then is fed to a drum 3.
