PURPOSE: To decrease the height of an entire device by prolonging a printed board under a chassis of the picture processing device toward both sides of the chassis and mounting tall electronic components to the prolonged parts.
CONSTITUTION: The picture processing device consists of a recording mechanism section 1, original carrying mechanism section 2, reading optical system section 3 arranged thereunder, power supply section 4 placed thereunder further and the printed board 5 arranged a the lowermost stage. The printed board 5 is prolonged toward both left and right sides of the chassis 50 and tall components such as a connector 56 are mounted on the prolonged parts to decrease the gap on the chassis 50 accommodating a power supply section or the like, resulting that the entire height of the device is decreased remarkably.
