To provide a picture processing method which can automatically adjust a sampling point interval on an eye based on the size of a change in an area where the change of a data value is large and the change of a color and transparency are large based on the change when numeric data are set in respective observation points in a three-dimensional space.
In a picture processing method, numeric data which are set on plural observation points marked in a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system in a three-dimensional space are projected in a two-dimensional orthogonal system and they are visualized as a two-dimensional pictures. A sampling point X(n) is set on an eye and the change degree of the sapling point numeric data at the periphery is obtained. An interval to the next sampling point on the same eye is set by the obtained value.
