Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a picture processor whose overhead is reduced on both a software and a hardware, by which a three-dimensional picture processing can be executed, and a length counter used for the picture processor, at the time of binarizing picture data, and preparing distance data.
CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a CPU 1, and an address bus 2 and a data bus 3 connected with the CPU 1. And also, the device is equipped with a length counter 4 connected with the address bus 2 and the data bus 3, which measures a distance between voxel data and a projecting face based on inputted slice picture data, and a picture memory 7 connected with the address bus 2 and the data bus 3. Moreover, the device is equipped with an address decoder 5 connected with the address bus 2 and the length counter 4, and a buffer 6 connected with the address decoder 5 and the data bus 3.
