Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability and to increase choices picture quality at a device having a G4 system and a JPEG system.
CONSTITUTION: Standard resolution (200dpi×200dpi) and precise resolution (400dpi×400dpi) are selected by the resolution selection key of an operation device 26. Resolution and code information specifying a quantizing table used in JPEG are stored in RAM 16 for the respective selection of standard resolution and precise resolution. The stored area is battery-backed up.
