Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transfer picture data between two picture accumulating devices by providing a picture transferring means which reads out picture data from one picture accumulating device and, at the same time, writes the picture data in the other picture accumulating device. CONSTITUTION:A direct I/O file controlling process 203 reads and writes a picture data file in a direct I/O file form against a hard disk drive device 110. A file transfer controlling process 204 transfers a picture data file between the device 110 and a floppy drive device 111. In an operating system 201 a TMP (Terminal Message Process) 201a performs delivery and reception of data against application soft 202 upon receiving a command from a user. An SUP (Supervisor) 201b discriminates a function call designated from the soft 202 side and hands over the call to a lower-rank module at need.
