Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a picture processor where a malfunction due to abnormality is not expanded by normally securing the writing area of terminal data in encoding picture data.
SOLUTION: When encoding data is received through a MODEM, CPU writes encoding picture dtata in a ring buffer. A control recovery code (PTC) is added (a) to the terminal end of data as terminal data in a state where picture data of a first page is stored. When RTC is detected, CPU judges that one-unit (one page) data is completed so as to transmit a communication proceduer signal through a MODEM. Then, when a certain kind of abnormality occurs in a state where a picture data of the second page is received (b), CPU writes RTC at the point of this time and stops (c) the writing of picture data to the buffer.
