PURPOSE: To provide a picture processor which simultaneously reproduces and outputs plural piece of picture data stored in a storage means within prescribed processing time as against one picture without lacking frame data and the like and whose economicity is superior.

CONSTITUTION: A picture sampling means 3 extracting plural sampling pictures by thinning and sampling original picture data at a prescribed interval, a picture processing means 4 compression-processing a sampling picture, the storage means 5 managing and storing processed picture data which is compression- processed by the picture processing means 4 at every sampling picture, a picture reproduction means 6 fetching processed picture data from the storage means 5 and expansion-processing the sampling picture and a picture editing means 7 editing and arranging the expansion-processed sampling are provided.
