PURPOSE: To eliminate the fluctuation of an object on a screen by changing the entire coordinates of each frame video signal depending on the difference of the coordinates of a characteristics point at each frame and a set characteristics point.

CONSTITUTION: The characteristics point 204 is set to a part having the characteristics of luminance, hue and chroma saturation on the object, the characteristics point 204 is detected from video signals of frames 201∼203, the coordinates are extracted, and the difference between the coordinates of the characteristics points point 204 at the frames 201∼203 and those of the characteristics point 204 of a preset reference picture 200 is obtained to change the entire coordinates of the video signals of the frames 201∼203 in response to the difference. Thus, the fluctuation relating to the object on the screen is eliminated and the object is fixed to a prescribed position.
