PURPOSE: To provide a picture projector capable of enlarging and projecting a picture and reproducing a sound by using an information recording body which is comparatively inexpensively and easily formed and where the picture and sound information are recorded.

CONSTITUTION: This projector is provided with feeding rollers 12, 13 and 20 carrying the information recording body 1, a magnetic head 15 reading the sound information recorded in a magnetic track layer, a sound reproducing circuit 16 reproducing the sound information read by the magnetic head 15 as sound, a light source 17 for projecting the picture recorded on the information recording body 1, and an enlarging and projecting part 18 for enlarging and projecting picture light passing through the picture film of the information recording body 1. In the projector, the picture is projected by using the information recording body 1 having the magnetic track where the sound information is recorded and the light transmissive picture film where the picture is recorded.
