Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture reader which can prevent deterioration of read picture data by simplifying installment of a picture reader scanner and enabling a reading surface to be precisely mounted at a specified position.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a scanner arrangement part 49 for arranging a picture reading scanner 27 and a reading surface press contact member 59 for being press-contacted to a reading surface 51 of the picture reading scanner 27, and it is constituted so that the reading surface 51 always press-contacts the reading surface press contact member 59 by pressing the picture reader scanner 27 by a reading surface pressing spring 53. Also, by providing an open part 63 and a width direction press contact member 61 which can be elastically deformed, the picture reader scanner 27 can be installed only by being slid and rotated.
