Abstract:
To provide a piezo oscillator made in a smaller and thinner size.
A piezo oscillator 10 comprises an electronic parts (semiconductor integrated circuit: IC) 14 mounted in a package 11 with wire bonding, and a piezo oscillating piece 16. The piezo oscillator 10 has a configuration, in which the longitudinal direction of the IC 14 is arranged in crosswise to the longitudinal direction of the piezo oscillating piece 16, and the connection plane of a wire 30 by the wire bonding and a mounting plane of the piezo oscillating piece 16 are arranged at the same layer.
