PURPOSE: To facilitate the automatic assembly of a piezoelectric component and to accelerate the assembly by holding the piezoelectric element by the holding base of the piezoelectric component so as to hold the lower surface of the piezoelectric element there between in the width direction.

CONSTITUTION: The holding base 16 is formed by heaping up the center of a planar part 14 with a conductive material. Holding near an approximate center is performed so as to conduct to an electrode formed on the main surface of the strip-like piezoelectric element 18 for performing length vibration on the upper surface of the holding base 16. At this time, the lower surface of the element 18 is held there between on the upper surface of the holding base 16. Also, the lower surface of a case 20 is stuck by an adhesive material to the periphery part of one of the main surfaces of the planar part 14 of a base terminal 12 and the cases 20 are arranged around the element 18. Also, the divided electrodes are formed on the other surface of the element 18 one end of the terminals are respectively connected and the terminals are provided so as to penetrate the case 20. Thus, the holding state of the element 18 is stabilized without the need of inserting a conductive rubber sheet or the like between the holding base 16 and the element 18.
