Abstract:

To provide a piezoelectric device that can be made thin and improved in yield and quality in manufacturing.

A crystal oscillator as the piezoelectric device includes a crystal vibration chip 30, an IC chip 20, and a package 10 in which the crystal vibration chip 30 and the IC chip 20 are housed while mounted to a base 11. The crystal vibration chip 30 has a through hole 31 penetrating the crystal vibration chip along the thickness, and the IC chip 20 is mounted to the base 11 in the through hole 31 in a plan view.
