Abstract:

To provide a piezoelectric device and a package thereof for preventing a piezoelectric resonator chip from being damaged and also effectively preventing the package from being damaged even when an external shock is exerted to the package.

The piezoelectric device is provided with the package 50 including an internal space S, and the piezoelectric resonator chip 20 fixed in the package 50 in a cantilever form. A pillow part 60 is projectingly formed to the package 50 from a side exposed to the internal space S up to a position contactable with a free end not participated in the vibration of the piezoelectric resonator chip 20, and a projected root part 60a of the pillow part 60 has a curved face shape.
