Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element where longitudinal vibration is not hindered and deterioration in the characteristic is less.
SOLUTION: Relating to the piezoelectric element that utilizes the longitudinal vibration mode, electrodes 3-5 are provided at front and rear main surfaces of the piezoelectric substrate respectively, and conductive supports 6, 7 are fixed to node parts of the electrodes 3, 4 of the one main surface. In this case, let the thickness of the piezoelectric element 1 be T, its length L, the thickness of the supports 6, 7 T1 and its length L1, then relations of T1/T≤0 and L1/L≤0.2 are in existence.
