Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element with high connection reliability by preventing short-circuiting between the divided electrodes of piezoelectric element by providing 1st and 2nd electrodes divided by a linear groove extended in lengthwise direction on one main surface of piezoelectric substrate and respectively fixing conductive holding members at an interval in the lengthwise direction of the piezoelectric substrate at the node parts of 1st and 2nd electrodes.
SOLUTION: A 1st electrode 4 and 2nd electrodes 5a and 5b divided by a linear groove 3 extended in the lengthwise direction are provided on one main surface of the piezoelectric substrate 2. At the node sections of these electrodes 4, 5a and 5b, conductive holding members 6a-6c are fixed at intervals in the lengthwise direction of the piezoelectric substrate 2. Therefore, even when the position of the piezoelectric element 1 is a little deviated in the case of connecting the piezoelectric element 1 to an external conductor, there is no danger of short-circuitting among the 1st and 2nd electrodes 4, 5a and 5b and the piezoelectric element 1 with high connection reliability can be provided. Besides, since the holding members 6a-6c are fixed at intervals, the inclination of the piezoelectric element 1 in the lengthwise direction can be prevented.
