As for this piezoelectric light-emitting fan 2, in the fan which is obtained by connecting a fan surface 8 to the distal end part 6 of the handle 4 and at least the handle 4 is made of plastic, the handle 4 is provided with a piezoelectric element 16 for transducing mechanical energy to electric energy, and at least a part of the piezoelectric element 16 is positioned between the distal end part 6 and the center part of the handle 4. The light-emitting element 18 light-emitting by power outputted from the piezoelectric element 16 is provided on the fan surface 8. As for the fan the handle 4 of which is made of plastic at least, a vicinity between the distal end part and the center part of the handle 4 is bent much and deformed when it fans as against the case of a fan whose handle is made of bamboo or wood. Since at least a part of the piezoelectric element 16 is positioned there, the light-emitting quantity of the light-emitting element 18 can be increased by increasing the power generation energy of the piezoelectric element 16.
