Abstract:
To provide a piezoelectric material paste capable of forming a piezoelectric material membrane exhibiting excellent dielectric characteristics and piezoelectric characteristics.
The piezoelectric material paste contains a Pb based piezoelectric crystal powder, an organic vehicle and a 2-ethyl lead hexanoate. When the piezoelectric material paste is applied and fired to form the piezoelectric material membrane, liquid phase sintering proceeds in the presence of the 1-ethyl lead hexanoate functioning as a sintering assistance. The ferroelectricity and piezoelectric property given, for example, by PZT crystal particle contained in the piezoelectric membrane are not damaged.
