PURPOSE: To improve the mass-productivity by providing a notch in a way of being overlapped onto a main electrode face at least one of end faces orthogonal to the main electrode face thereby relaxing the processing accuracy of a center slot.
CONSTITUTION: A slot 3 is provided on a piezoelectric resonance component 1 along one major surface of a piezoelectric ceramic substrate 2 in the lengthwise direction (l) and the slot 3 bisects one major surface in the direction of (l). Moreover, slots 4, 5 are provided on a position of 1/3l from the center in the direction of length (l) toward a direction in crossing with the length (l). On the other hand, an input electrode 6, an output electrode 7, independent electrodes 8∼11 are provided on the major surface while being sectioned by slots 3∼5 and an entire facial electrode 12 is provided on the other major surface. Then the depth (d) of the slot 3 is selected to be 30∼70% of the thickness (t) of the piezoelectric substrate 2. Thus, undesired vibration is suppressed and the frequency of the undesired vibration is shifted toward high frequencies in addition.
