Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a piezoelectric resonator, for which the loss of insertion is almost eliminated and the flatness of group delay characteristics is improved, by preventing one part of an area, where a coupling capacity part is provided, from being polarized.
CONSTITUTION: Concerning a filter 1, two filter parts F1 and F2 and one coupling capacity part C1 are provided on a piezoelectric substrate 2. As the piezoelectric substrate 2, the ceramics substrate of Pb(ZrTi)O3, BaTiO3 or the like is used and this piezoelectric substrate 2 is polarized while remaining an almost 1/2 part 20 of the area where a coupling capacity part C1 is provided. On the other hand, the coupling capacity part C1 is composed of capacity electrodes 8a and 8b formed in counter to the upper and lower faces of the lower side central parts of the substrate 2. Further, input/output pull-out electrodes 9 and 10 are formed at left and right terminal parts on the upper face of the piezoelectric substrate 2 and corresponding to specification, a lead terminal or the like is electrically connected and fixed to the capacity electrode 8b and the respective input/output pull-out electrodes 9 and 10 by soldering or the like.
