Title:
PIEZOELECTRIC RESONATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05335872
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress production of undesired vibration such as spurious radiation by fixing a terminal of the piezoelectric element with a conductive adhesives filled between a base and an insulation cap.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of adhesion between a piezoelectric element 15 and a base 13 by using conductive adhesives 11a, 11b, the element 15 is mounted onto the base 13 at first. Then paste adhesives 11a, 11b are coated to be higher than the element 15 and to sufficiently fill in a space formed by the end of the element 15, the base 13 and an end inner side face of an insulation cap 14. Then the cap 14 with the seal adhesives 19 coated thereto is covered onto the element 15. Thus, terminal electrodes 16a, 16b of the element 15 are fixed electrically and mechanically by the adhesives 11a, 11b filled between the base 13 and the cap 14. Thus, the electrodes 16a, 16b of the element 15 are fixed in the entire broadwise direction and the adhesion sufficiently withstands shock and vibration and the thickness of the piezoelectric resonator is made thin.
