The piezoelectric vibration piece includes an arm root portion 4 having an arm width W1 larger than the arm width W of a vibrating arm portion 3 and smaller than a distance P between two vibrating arm portions 3, and the arm root portion 4 has a predetermined length of a portion wider than the arm width W of the vibrating arm portion 3. With this configuration, the vibrating arm portion 3 has rigidity to prevent the vibration of the vibrating arm portion 3 from leaking to the base 2, and thus, the vibration of the vibrating arm portion 3 and the vibration frequency of the crystal vibration piece 1 can be stabilized.
