Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator based on a piezoelectric crystal having a larger electromechanical coupling coefficient than a crystal.SOLUTION: The piezoelectric vibrator is provided with a diaphragm 101 configured from a CaNbGaSiOcrystal. The diaphragm 101 is cut out at one of angles in a range of θ=22° 47' to 25° 45' centering around an X axis from the XZ plane of the CaNbGaSiOcrystal. An electrode 102 is formed on the principal plane of the tabular diaphragm 101, and an electrode 103 is formed on the reverse side of the diaphragm 101, so that the piezoelectric vibrator is actuated by applying a prescribed signal to each electrode.
