To provide a pigment composition for a color filter which has high lightness and a high contrast ratio and causes no precipitation of crystals of a diketopyrrolopyrrole-based pigment even by a heating process, and to provide a coloring composition and a color filter using the coloring composition.
There is provided a diketopyrrolopyrrole-based pigment composition for a color filter containing C.I.Pigment Red 254 and a diketopyrrolopyrrole pigment having A and B. A and B are each independently a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an alkyl group having carbon number of 1 to 4, an alkoxyl group having carbon number of 1 to 4, a cyano group, -CF3 or -CON(R1)R2. At least one of A and B is -CON(R1)R2. The mass ratio between C.I.Pigment Red 254 and the diketopyrrolopyrrole pigment derivative is 97:3 to 85:15.
