Abstract:
To provide a pigment composition containing an α type copper phthalocyanine pigment having small pigment particle diameter, a blue coloring composition for color filter high in contrast ratio, transparency, and clarity, and low in viscosity, using the same, and a color filter.SOLUTION: There is provided a pigment composition containing an α type copper phthalocyanine pigment having half width G of 1.30° or more at a point A exhibiting maximum diffraction intensity in a range of 2θ=15.5°±0.15° in a powder X ray diffraction picture shown by diffraction intensity to diffraction angle 2θ measured by a CuKα ray.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
