Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersant which is excellent in the dispersibility and storage stability of a pigment included in a pigment dispersion such as an ink, a paint, and a coloring resin composition, and is used for obtaining the pigment dispersion that is not limited on the type of binder resins and solvents.SOLUTION: A pigment dispersion comprises a polyalkyleneimine derivative in which a substituent having the structure of the following formula (1) is added to a nitrogen atom of polyalkyleneimine, where Ris a C6-C20 alkyl group, a C6-C20 alkenyl group, a C6-C20 aryl group, or -(CHCHO)-R. Ris a C6-C20 alkyl group, a C6-C20 alkenyl group, or a C6-C20 aryl group. n is an integer of 1-50.SELECTED DRAWING: None
