Title:
PIGMENT WRAPPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3804198
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have polyethylene excellently soluble into ink or paint and capable of being placed in a manufacturing apparatus used during the period of manufacturing ink and paint without separating the wrapper, and thereby prevent an environmental pollution caused by dust by wrapping various kinds of pigments with a specific density polyethylene film.
SOLUTION: When a pigment is wrapped by a wrapper manufactured by extremely low density having a density of 0.900 g/cc or lower, since the extremely low density polyethylene is soluble excellently in ink or pigment, it can be placed in a manufacturing kettle with the wrapper. The extremely low density polyethylene is, e.g. can be manufactured by the use of a catalyst referred to as a metallocene catalyst or Kaminsky catalyst. The pigment used here for wrapping includes titanium oxide, zinc oxide, carbon black, graphite, iron oxide red, cadmium yellow, polyethylene powder or the like.
