To provide a pile construction apparatus which is fit for construction of a pile in a narrow construction region, and can enlarge a movable range of an excavator in a lateral direction, to thereby improve the workability when the pile is constructed in the narrow construction region.

The pile construction apparatus 1 is formed of: a base machine 10 having a boom 11 horizontally turnable in a lateral direction; a support bracket 20 mounted on a front end of the boom 11; a leader 30 mounted on the front end of the boom 11 via the support bracket 20; and an earth auger 40 (excavator) ascendable/descendable along the leader 30. The support bracket 20 tiltably supports the leader 30 in longitudinal and lateral directions with respect to the front end of the boom 11, and also horizontally rotatably supports the leader 30 in the lateral direction with respect to the front end of the boom 11.
