Title:
PILE-DRIVING AND CONNECTING BLOCK WORK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63272811
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of cracks and also to raise the earthquake proofness of blocks by a method in which a supporter, a column, a beam, and a reaction base are stacked up on a pile by matching their through holes, and a prestress is applied to them.

CONSTITUTION: A pile 1 is set with a supporter 2, the blocks of column 31 and beam 32 are stacked up on the supporter 2, and a reaction base 4 is placed on the uppermost block. A PC steel rod 5 whose one end is fixed to the supporter 2 is set between the pile 1 and the hole of the blocks and concrete is placed. After the concrete hardens, the other end of the rod 5 is pulled through the base 4 to give it prestress. A light-weight structure can thus be obtained, having earthquake proofness. Partial concentration of prestress can be prevented, and no cracks occur in the blocks.
