Abstract:
To provide a pillow packaging machine with which paper-passing work becomes easier and work time can be reduced regardless of the skill level of operators.SOLUTION: A pillow packaging machine 10 has: a bag-making device 25 which makes a strip-shaped film 15 into bags of a cylindrical film 24 by overlapping end edge parts on both sides; a center seal unit 27 which seals end edge parts 24a on both sides of the cylindrical film 24; a set of guide plates 34 which extends in the conveying direction between the center seal unit 27 and conveying means 26; and a switchable guide plate operation mechanism 50 which can switch the set of guide plates 34 between a return state in which an insertion area 55 of the end edge parts 24a on both sides are opposed to each other at predetermined positions so as to be formed between the two and an open state in which at least one guide plate 34a is moved away from the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
