Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To beautifully execute packing processing without making an article fall down in the longitudinal direction in a cylindrical film.SOLUTION: A pillow packing machine comprises a top seal device 25 for moving a pair of upper-lower sealers in the longitudinal direction for sealing and cutting a cylindrical film in the lateral direction. A packing object supplied to the cylindrical film is an article group of longitudinally juxtaposing a plurality of articles of a standing state. A side belt device for supporting a side surface of a packing film is arranged on the upstream side of the top seal device, and a side restraining device for preventing falling-in of the article of releasing support by a side belt device, is arranged on the downstream side of the side belt device. The side restraining device comprises a finger member 45 for pushing in to the inside by contacting with a nonexistent part of the packing object of a side surface of the packing film, and an inward pushing-in section by the finger member overlaps with a section for restraining the packing object by the side belt device, and a top sealer includes a position for starting to nip the cylindrical film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
