To prevent troubles of a nozzle attributable to a thermal load by effectively cooling a tip portion of the nozzle to reliably reduce the thermal load of the nozzle.
An annular cooling water pocket 37 is formed in a nozzle body 32 of a nozzle 16 connected to a tip of a nozzle holder so as to surround a valve seat 35 on which a needle valve 19 to open/close an injection nozzle 36 formed in a nozzle head 32f is seated, and a pair of cooling water flow-in holes (cooling water outgoing passage) 38 and a pair of cooling water flow-out holes (cooling water return passage) 39 to feed/discharge cooling water to/from the cooling water pocket 37 are disposed on the sides facing each other in the diameter direction across the needle valve 19. The cooling water flow-in holes 38 and the cooling water flow-out holes 39 communicate with a cooling water introduction holes and a cooling water discharge hole formed corresponding to the nozzle holder via a dispersion groove 40 and a collection groove 41, respectively.
