To provide a pin-jointed pile head vibration isolation device taking into consideration the safety of a train during an earthquake, which can prevent the displacement of a train track in a direction perpendicular to a line caused by the earthquake, to thereby ensure safe train traveling during the earthquake.
The pin-jointed pile head vibration isolation device taking into consideration the safety of a train during an earthquake is formed of: a pile head upper surface 3 arranged in a foundation of the train track 9; a steel rotary pin 6 arranged between a footing bottom surface that bears the train track 9 and a pin-jointed portion 4; and members 7 fixed to the pile head upper surface 3 for limiting the rotating direction of the steel rotary pin 6. By the members 7 for limiting the rotating direction of the steel rotary pin 6, the steel rotary pin 6 is rotated only in a limited range, and therefore part of displacement caused by a seismic ground motion acting in a direction perpendicular to the line is converted into displacement E, i. e. along the line direction, to thereby prevent the displacement D in the direction perpendicular to the line of the train track.
