Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a solar light conductive pipe of easy handling and production by coating the outside circumference of a transparent pipe of which the inside surface consists of plural recesses by means of a coating material, a filler and a sheath, and forming the same spirally over the entire length.

CONSTITUTION: A solar light conducting pipe is formed by coating the outside circumference of a transparent pipe 1 of which the inside surface consists of plural recesses 5 by means of a coating material 3, a filler 4, and a sheath 5, and forming these spirally 9 over the entire length. At the time of producing this, a concentrical pipe having a clearance corresponding to the wall thickness of the pipe is provided, and a molten raw material is forcibly fed into the clearance thereof and these are drawn and cold molded, thence the molding is wound. The light made incident through an incident port 7 is irregularly reflected by the recesses 5 and is emitted from an exit port 8. The spiral pipe is elongated or contracted and is fixed where the exit light is the largest. Thereby, the solar light conducting pipe of easy handling and production is obtained.
