Abstract:
To provide a pipe end processing device which can process a swollen part by only application of a pressure to a pipe from one end, and further, which has a function as a device for gripping a pipe end.SOLUTION: A pipe end processing device 1 has a female die 20 having a molding surface of a swollen part, and a male die 30 which presses a molded surface of a pipe onto the molding surface of the female die. The female die has a through hole 21, a diameter of one side of the through hole is expanded, and on an inner periphery thereof, a molding surface 22 of the afore-said swollen part is formed, and the male die is inserted in the through hole of the female die. This pipe end processing device comprises a core grid 31 which is moved in an axial direction by a drive unit provided on the other side of the female die, and a cylindrical elastic body 32 which is externally fitted to an end of the core grid which projects to one side of the female die, is compressed in an axial direction by movement of the core grid and is evagination-deformed in a radial direction, thereby pressing the molded surface of the pipe onto the molding surface of the female die.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
