Abstract:
To provide a pipe joint which can easily exchange an end face seal member.SOLUTION: This pipe joint 10 comprises: a flow passage constituent member 16 composed of a joint main body part 12 and a valve member 14; an annular end face seal member 20 arranged at a front end face 40 of the valve member 14; a holder 24 arranged on an external peripheral face 22 of the valve member 14, and holding the end face seal member 20 at a periphery of a front end opening 26; and a stop ring 52 held in a ring holding groove 50 which is formed at the external peripheral face 22 of the valve member 14. A lock inclined face 56 inclined to the outside in a radial direction toward a front side is formed at an internal peripheral face 46 of the holder 24, and when pulling the holder 24 frontward, the stop ring 52 is pressed against the lock inclined face 56, and elastically deformed to the inside, and thus, a lock by the stop ring 52 with respect to the holder 24 is released. By this constitution, the holder 24 is removed, and the end face seal member 20 can be removed from a clearance between the valve member 14 and the holder 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
