Abstract:
To provide a colored pipe joint by which internal water conduction can be seen through and which has a heat insulation property, and an air conditioning system employing the colored pipe joint.SOLUTION: In a pipe joint, a cover member 20 is mounted from the outside of a joint body 10 in such a manner that at least an outer surface 13a of a trunk 13 is covered, and a sealed air layer 23 for heat insulation is formed between the outer surface 13a of the trunk 13 and an inner surface 20a of the cover member 20. The joint body 10 is formed from a colored semi-transparent resin containing at least a pigment. The joint body 10 and the cover member 20 are then formed in such a manner that, when a portion of the joint body 10 covered by the cover member 20 is watched from the outside, the portion looks in such a semi-transparent preset color that the inside of the pipe joint can be seen through from a near position, and the portion looks in such a non-transparent preset color that the inside of the pipe joint cannot be seen through from a distant position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
