To provide a pipe forming apparatus with which the efficiency of the forming work of a tubular pipe is improved and the accuracy of the roundness of the tubular pipe by enabling working and forming within the same apparatus after evaluating the shape of the end face part of the tubular pipe by a measuring mechanism within the apparatus.
This pipe forming apparatus is composed of a supporting mechanism 2 for holding an unformed end part P1 to which the flange of the tubular pipe P is not fitted, a pipe rotating mechanism 3 for supporting the tubular pipe P from the under part in the vicinity of the formed end part P2 of the tubular pipe P, a measuring part 4 at the tip of which a probe for measuring the shape of the inside peripheral surface of the formed end part P and a laser beam machining device 5 which is provided in the vicinity of the measuring part 4 and with which the laser beam machining of the formed end part P2 is performed. By measuring and evaluating the shape of the formed end part P2 by the measuring part 4, as the result, deformed parts are grasped and formed by linear heating with the laser beam machining device 5.
