PURPOSE: To enable a pipe joint to be used for high a temperature fluid such as molten salts by arranging a nipple, bearing means and ring-shaped seal, etc., in a housing to be mounted on a rotary device and a seal between the outer end of the housing and the head mounted thereon.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary joint 10 is used together with a rotary device 14 and is used for the flow of high temperature corrosive fluid in particular. In this case, the rotary joint 10 is provided with a ring-shaped housing 12 with a bore 58 and sealing face 60 to the rotary joint 14 by a housing mounting means 26. A ring-shaped nipple 20 is arranged in the bore 58, and a bearing means 30 and 32 are made to intervene between the bore 58 and the outer face of the nipple 20 in mutually spacing relation in the axial direction. In addition, ring-shaped seals 28 are arranged around the nipple 20. A head 18 is mounted on the outer end of the housing 12, and a head seal 70 is arranged between the head 18 and the outer end of the housing 12 to allow the housing to rotate and axially move.
