PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a flow passage even when a pipe line is broken by fitting an elastic ring in the end of a lining material, expanding the elastic ring by means of an expansion ring, and bringing the outside part of the elastic ring into pressure contact with the pipeline slidably.
SOLUTION: A lining material 3 is brought into pressure contact with the inside face of a pipeline 1, and to a reduced diameter part 5, which is formed in the end part of the lining material 3, an elastic ring 6 made of elastic material such as rubber is fitted. A metallic expansion ring 7 is fitted on the inside of the internal part 6c in the elastic ring 6, and when the expansion ring 7 is expanded so as to expand the diameter of the elastic ring 6, the outside face of an external part 6a of the elastic ring 6 is brought into pressure contact with the pipeline 1. As the elastic ring 6 is forcibly fitted to the pipeline 1 slidably, the elastic ring 6 is slid on the pipeline 1 when great force is applied in the longitudinal direction of the lining material 3, so that the elastic ring 6 can follow the applied force, and as a result, breakage, excessive deformation, or the like in the lining material 3 can be prevented.
